Style Muse: Rachel Bilson

I used to think that Rachel Bilson's style was a tad crazy, but she's really stepped it up recently. I mean, how incredibly gorgeous does she look in the leopard gown below?! I also love how she can pull off both edgy (see the pink, black, and white dress and black booties below) and feminine (see the lovely pink dress and black pumps below) so well. I'm also loving her more casual styles above, although I admittedly could do without the ombre hair. Rachel is proving that petite girls really can pull off just as many looks as our taller counterparts!

Style Muse: Blake Lively

I know it has been awhile since I posted a style muse, but no one has really been standing out to me lately. That is until now!!! Lately I've been really loving Blake Lively's style on and off the red carpet. Granted, she is so beautiful and has such an amazing body that she could pretty much wear a trash bag and it would still look amazing on her, but she really has been making some great wardrobe choices lately. I love that her style varies from edgy to romantic to classic and that she isn't afraid to take risks. I also kind of love how often she wears her hair back on the red carpet (as seen above) even though she has such great long flowy hair. Too often I feel like celebs bore me with their long (extension heavy) wavy hair parted in the middle.

Style Muse: Jessica Alba

I feel like Jessica Alba's style has come a long way since her Dark Angel days and I've really been loving both her formal and casual styles lately. She isn't afraid to take a risk on the red carpet with edgier pieces, but then again she also has been photographed lately wearing more feminine bohemian pieces as well. Her casual style seems perfectly suited for a new mom. I think that her look below with the denim moto jacket over the floral dress and studded boots is absolute perfection!!!

Style Muse: Diane Kruger

Whether she is on the red carpet or out and about running errands, Diane Kruger always appears to me to be an enviably gorgeous picture of perfection. She seems to have a knack for finding red carpet dresses with just enough quirkiness to them that make them interesting without making them garish. Similarly, she has a great eye for mixing and matching patterns and colors and adding the right accessories to make an otherwise mundane outfit truly unique. She also appears to have no problem with mixing low end pieces with high end pieces. The floral dress below is currently available at Urban Outfitters for only $58!

Style Muse: Lauren Conrad

I have been experiencing quite a bit of inner turmoil lately deciding whether to continue to watch The Hills on MTV now that Lauren Conrad will no longer be on the show. While she may not have added as much drama to the show as Audrina or the beloved Speidi, she was by far the best dressed on that show for sure. For those of you who have seen the show, you know that Lauren has worked in the fashion industry interning for Teen Vogue and People's Liberation and attended the Fashion Institute of Design & Marketing in California, so she basically doesn't have an excuse for not being fashionable! And for those of you who have watched the show since the beginning even back to the Laguna Beach days you now that Lauren's style has evolved significantly from the typical laid back California beachy style to a more sophisticated style. Lately she has been really upping her game promoting her new book L.A. Candy, dressing to show off one of her best features, her legs! I just adore her more sophisticated looks above as well as her more casual looks below. While her mid-range clothing line sold in boutiques throughout the country was not a success, I have heard that she is in talks with Kohl's to release a more affordable juniors line. While she will definitely be missed from The Hills, I can't wait to see what she does next!

Style Muse: Hayden Panettiere

Whether she is dressed up for an event or dressed down to run errands, Heroes TV starlette Hayden Panettiere's style has been on point lately. As she matures out of adolescence into womanhood, her style seems to be following suit. Long gone are the days of t-shirts and cut-offs. As pictured above, Hayden really knows how to dress her petite frame, opting for short hemlines to elongate her legs. I am also really loving her casual style lately. The outfits below are rather simple, but they don't seem frumpy or outdated to me. Neutral colors are always in style!

Style Muse: Blair Waldorf

I'm sure it comes as no surprise to most of you that I absolutely adore the uber feminine style of the character Blair Waldorf on the popular CW television show Gossip Girl, played by actress Leighton Meester. For those of you that have seen Gossip Girl, you know that Blair's style (sweet and ladylike) is ironically the exact opposite of her personality (cold and stuck up). I've noticed that Blair wears a lot of pieces by Milly and Nanette Lepore, two of my favorite designers. And her style wouldn't be complete without her signature headband, many of which are by Jennifer Behr. We owe Blair's fabulous looks to Eric Daman, the head stylist on Gossip Girl, who once worked as an assistant on Sex and the City. Interestingly, Daman recently teamed up with the affordable clothing store Charlotte Russe to assist in the styling of their upcoming fall 2009 collection, which includes three different looks: Brit Punk, Girly Grunge, and Heirloom Romance.
