In Stores Now: Rachel Roy for Macy's

In June, I told you that Rachel Roy would be designing a diffusion line for Macy's. Well, the line has officially hit the stores and is also available online. Unfortunately for us C-bus gals, it appears that the line is not available in any of the Macy's stores around Columbus. However, pieces from the line are available online at www.macys.com and boy do they look cute! Check out the silver 24 hour dress above for $89, the chain tee above for $59, and the brushstroke print dress above for $99. Rodarte for Target Go International

Target has tapped Laura and Kate Mulleavy of Rodarte to design a collection for their Go International initiative. The Rodarte for Target Go International collection will consist of 55 pieces and will range from $9.99 for knee-highs to $79.99 for a leopard print jacket. Target's Rodarte line will max out at less than $80. The collection will also include a variety of holiday dresses. This limited edition collection will launch at Target stores nationwide and on www.target.com on December 20, 2009, and will be available through February 6, 2009. The pictures above are from Rodarte's Fall 2009 runway line. The pictures from the Target line have not yet been released, but I will be sure to post them as soon as they are!

I was not very impressed with the shoe selection and prices, but they had scarves, key chains, belts, and coin purses for $50; men's wallets and women's small wallets for $100; mini boston bags for $150 in beige and white; women's large wallets for $200; and a variety of other larger purses for around $250 each, including some red guccisima bags.

Whether she is dressed up for an event or dressed down to run errands, Heroes TV starlette Hayden Panettiere's style has been on point lately. As she matures out of adolescence into womanhood, her style seems to be following suit. Long gone are the days of t-shirts and cut-offs. As pictured above, Hayden really knows how to dress her petite frame, opting for short hemlines to elongate her legs. I am also really loving her casual style lately. The outfits below are rather simple, but they don't seem frumpy or outdated to me. Neutral colors are always in style!

Raid My Closet: Classic

The following is a list of eight items from my closet that I truely believe are timeless, will never go out of style, and that every woman should have in her closet. Tim Gunn eat your heart out!

1. Trenchcoat: I have a few trenches, but I chose this one to photograph because it is not the traditional beige. Plus the shorter length lends itself to my petite frame. I purchased this red trench at Banana Republic last summer.

2. White button down: Perhaps one of the most versatile items in my wardrobe because it can be worn to work or casually on the weekend, this white button down has 3/4 length sleeves and a longer length to ensure that it stays tucked in. I purchased it at J. Crew a few years ago.

3. Tote bag: Louis Vuitton never goes out of style! I love this Neverfull MM because you can make it smaller by pulling the cords on the end and the coated canvas is extra durable and doesn't scratch like leather.

4. Loafers: Coach, purchaed at Macy's a few years ago.

5. Pearls: Purchased in Bejing, China a few years ago.

6. Diamond studs: Gift from my husband a few years ago.

7. Dark denim medium-rise straight-legged jeans: Every woman needs a pair of jeans without any rips, holes, crystals, studs, or fading. I purchased this pair by Calvin Klein at Macy's last year.

8. Oversized scarf/Wrap: Purchased at Banana Republic a few months ago.
