In Stores Now: Madonna/Lourdes "Material Girl" Collection

Madonna and her daughter Lourdes have teamed up to create an 80s-inspired clothing line aimed at teens. The collection is fittingly called "Material Girl" and is available only at Macy's stores and on www.macys.com. The hot mess known as Taylor Momsen of Gossip Girl fame is the face of the line as seen above in some of the pics from the line's lookbook. I think some of the pieces are relatively cute like the studded faux leather jacket (retailing for $78), but it is hard for this child of the 80s to get behind the 80s retro look. Some things are just meant to remain in the past. Prices are very reasonable (the faux leather moto jacket is the most expensive piece in the line). The collection also offers handbags and jewelry. I told you in May that jewelry label Temple St. Clair will be creating a limited-edition collection of accessories for Target, which will be available on www.target.com from August 29th through December 26th. At that time pictures from the For Target collection were not yet available, but some pics of the new collection have now been released! Below: Necklace for $40; Earrings for $30; Ring for $30. How cute is that heart ring!

Temple St. Clair was founded by Clair Carr in 1986 when she was living in Florence. She is known for designs in 18-karat gold, including her signature rock crystal amulets, moonstone jewelry and angel charms.

Target recently announced that it will be partnering with William Rast, founded by Justin Timberlake and Trace Ayala, to launch a For Target collection for both men and women featuring premium denim, outerwear, and sportswear. The Rachel Zoe Project Season 3 Premiers Tonight!

Season 3 of one of my favorite television shows, the Rachel Zoe Project, premiers tonight at 10:00 p.m. ET on Bravo! Putting aside whatever feelings you may have about Rachel Zoe's personality or appearance, in my opinion at least, she sure knows how to style an outfit! I think she has an excellent eye for accessories in particular (her own accessories closet is 100% drool-worthy) and her knowledge of fashion history and trends is astounding to me. Plus, her assistant Brad is hilarious! If you love fashion like I do, this show is a must see! It's bananas!
