Spring/Summer 2011 Fashion Trend: Asian Inspiration

Asian-inspired prints and details were prominent in many of the SS2011 collections (Above: Givenchy; Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti; Dries Van Noten; Louis Vuitton). I like this trend because many of the prints are quite feminine and the fabrics are flowy, which suit my girly aesthetic, but I think you have to be careful not to go overboard with this trend (i.e., the hat at Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti above).
