Short flared a-line skirts are a super big trend right now. Loads of celebs have been wearing them lately (see above: Lauren Conrad; Jennifer Hudson; Kim Kardashian; Ashley Greene). I really like this trend because it is girly and fun and really youthful, but if you are a little wider on the bottom like I am, be sure to look for a skirt that flatters your bottom half. The less poofy they skirt is and the more a-line, the more flattering the skirt will be on you. Of course, if you are lucky enough to have a slender frame, don't be afraid to go for a fuller skirt.
