Fall/Winter 2012 Fashion Trend: Contrast Sleeves

If you've made your way into a store anytime in the past few months, I'm sure you've noticed the contrast-sleeve trend.  It appears most frequently on t-shirts, blazers, and coats, often with the sleeves in some sort of leather or pleather material.  (Above:  Camilla and Marc; Elie Saab; Elie Tahari; Chanel).  I am a big fan of this trend because I think it adds interest to an outfit in a really simplistic way, and I've already picked up a super cute dress with pleather contrast sleeves that I can't wait to wear this fall!  If you too are loving this trend, below are some options to consider:  Ark & Co. sequin sleeve blouse for $69 on www.piperlime.com; Colorblocked panels top for $17.80 on www.forever21.com; Duo-toned cardigan for $22.80 on www.forever21.com; Felicity & Coco contrast panel sheath dress for $118 on www.nordstrom.com; Hooded moto jacket for $24.80 on www.forever21.com; Pyramid stud denim jacket for $27.80 on www.forever21.com; Rebecca Minkoff "Della" jacket for $498 on www.piperlime.com; Rhyme & Echo contrast arm blazer for $79 on www.piperlime.com; Suzi Chin for Maggy Boutique belted colorblock sheath dress for $158 on www.nordstrom.com; Theory Rodinoa G Encase tee for $75 on www.shopbop.com; "Uptowner" coat for $95 on www.lulus.com; Leather biker jacket for $249 on www.zara.com
