Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Trend: Pastels

One of the biggest trends this Spring and Summer are pastels.  (Above: Chloe; Christopher Kane; Erdem; Oscar de la Renta.)  I absolutely adore pastels so I am super thrilled that they are on-trend this season.  While I already have a ton of pastels in my closet, I literally want to purchase every single item below.  If you are a huge fan of pastels like me, below are some options to consider:  "Katrine" peplum top for $88 on; Sam & Lavi "Trina" floral lace dress for $198 on; AG "Stevie" ankle jean for $158 on; Sabine vegan leather tank for $79 on; 1969 legging skimmer jean for $69.95 on; "Softer Side" blazer for $66 on; M Missoni eyelet dress for $795 on; "Turning in Tulle" skirt for $47.99 on; "Zip Down Memory Lane" jacket for $54.99 on; "Dorothy" coat for $698 on; Gibson collarless linen blazer for $88 on; Collection necklace shell top for $138 on

Probably the hottest pastel trend this Spring and Summer is mint-colored clothing.  (Below: Catherine Malandrino; Kate Spade; Mulberry; Matthew Williamson.)  Mint is the "it" color to be wearing this season, so if you don't already have something in this shade, you'll be sure to want to pick something up!

Below are some great mint options to consider:  "Heart to Get" sequin dress for $40 on; "Moves Like Jagger" jeggings for $42 on; Line & Dot moto jacket for $119 on; Rhyme Los Angeles "Carrie" dress for $79 on; Vila slouchy sweater for $33.81 on; Brocade pencil skirt for $98 on; Silence & Noise ex-Boyfriend blazer for $79 on; Kate Spade New York "Terry" tweed dress for $448 on; Broken-in straight khakis for $49.95 on; "Mint and Greet" top for $32.99 on; "Sea the Light" skirt for $42.99 on; Circle lace shell for $49.50 on
