Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: July 17-August 2

For those of you who do not know about Nordstrom's Anniversary sale, it is the yearly sale that typically occurs each July where Nordstrom discounts upcoming fall season items 33-40% off retail prices. It is a great way to score upcoming styles at a discount without having to wait until they go on sale at the end of the season. Pre-sale for these items STARTS TODAY. While some sales associates require that you have a Nordstrom credit card, others will permit you to pre-sale these items without a Nordies card. Only select fall 2009 clothing, handbags, and shoes will be on sale. There will also be deals on cosmetics, fragrances, and skincare.

Two fall 2009 Marc Jacobs handbags in black or ivory (the Damen and the Maiden pictured above) will be on sale for $866.90. They will go back to their retail price of $1,295 on August 3rd. A burberry tote (pictured below) will also be on sale for $349.90 down from $525. The burberry flats and wedges pictured below will also be on sale for $189.90 down from $295. A merino wool Burberry wrap will be on sale for $198.90 (regularly $325) available in three different plaid colors (deep purple, cream with acqua, and traditional black/tan/red) as well.
