Spring/Summer 2010 Fashion Trend: Trench Dressing
Always a staple item in any girl's Spring wardrobe, the trench coat was quite popular on the SS2010 runways (Above: 3.1 Phillip Lim; Burberry Prorsum; Celine; Marc Jacobs). Trenches this Spring range from the more traditional khaki colored knee-length style to a more modern above-the-knee or cropped style in all kinds of colors. Some are military inspired while others are more feminine with ruffles. Trench dresses are also popular. I'm so happy that trenches are in style this Spring because it is such a classic piece that women of all age ranges can wear! While I admittedly already own quite a few trench coats, I recently picked up one more that I can't wait to wear this Spring (pictured below from Anthropologie).
