One of the stranger trends seen on the SS2011 runways was apparel covered in bananas, oranges, lemons, and pineapples (Above: Stella McCartney; Suno; Prada). I don't really know what to say about this trend except that it is a tad odd, but the idea of a fruit-print doesn't completely offend me either. But if I had to choose between a floral-print and a fruit-print, I am going to go floral every time. However, if you are feeling fruity (sorry...I had to go there) and want to give this trend a try, below are some options to consider: ASOS oranges tank for $32.27 on www.asos.com; Alcy Drezz Cherry Illustrated People for $99 on www.topshop.com; ASOS banana crop top for $32.27 on www.asos.com; Living Dead Souls black cherry-print cap sleeved dress for $58 on www.uniquevintage.com; Kate Spade pineapple-print top for $245 on www.bloomingdales.com; Ellie cherry tart peep-toe pumps for $58 on www.uniquevintage.com; Cooperative fruit-printed cardigan for $49 on www.urbanoutfitters.com; ASOS apple-printed panel shift dress on sale for $53.79 on www.asos.com; Cream apple-print bikini for $55 on www.topshop.com.
