Pleated skirts were featured in quite a few of the Spring/Summer 2011 collections (Above: Yohji Yamamoto; Chloe; Christopher Kane) this year. But I'm not talking about the huge school-uniform pleats; rather, the pleats that will be prominent this Spring and Summer are teeny-tiny giving the skirts a flowy feel. I really like this trend but have found that pleats (even the tiny variety) are not super flattering on bottom-heavy girls like myself.
